Caryn Colgan

Caryn Colgan writes books, facilitates Mind Magic and Karma Art playshops, coaches groups and individuals and creates art that encourages humankind to "remember what you are" while becoming more guardian-like in our treatment of others and our planet home. She has been an artist since the crayon days and a public speaker for as long as anyone would listen.

Now she works to free people to create the life they dream of with Mind Magic. The playshop, playbook and new book will be out in 2010.

Patricia "Murph" Murphy

Patricia "Murph" Murphy is a painter working in watercolors, acrylics, colored pencil and other two-dimensional media. She is a conceptual artist, incorporating references from both contemporary and historical subjects that are both visual and intellectual.

A Colorado based artist, Murph began her art career in printmaking and drawing, and worked as a scenic artist with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The paintings in her most recent exhibition, "Smoke," continued her exploration of strong, yet modest women—from Bolivian women wrestlers, known as Cholitas, to the overlooked street vendor. Murph is a member of Ironton Studios and Gallery in the RiNo Art District.

Maureen Collins

Maureen Collins enjoys working in various mediums, including photography, collage, ceramics, mixed metals, mosaics and jewelry.  She finds inspiration everywhere, celebrating creativity in all its expressions.   Maureen likes to re-envision the images in her photographs, including the original of a Bird of Paradise, from Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA. The vision was to make this flower take flight. She created the "Paradise in Bloom" button design.

Jools

Jools is the Chief Instigator of Playful Life and an untrained art dabbler who loves to play and get her hands and clothes stained. She admires artistic talent, which is why she called upon some real art professionals to create button designs. She could not resist getting out the watercolors to create the included button.
